Cayuga Recap: In their first trip north

at Cayuga Motor Speedway in the Cayuga ARCA RE/MAX 250.
After starting 17th, Patrick Sheltra maneuvered his No.
60 Groupe Beton Brunet Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS to the front
and led 11 laps before becoming a victim in short track
carnage. The team finished the event 18th completing 249
of 257 circuits.
Welcome Back: For the second consecutive
event Sheltra Motorsports will welcome Groupe Beton Brunet
onboard as a primary marketing partner for Friday’s
Kentucky ARCA RE/MAX 150. Groupe Beton Brunet held the primary
marketing partner role in the most recent ARCA event at
Cayuga Motor Speedway on June 29th. Groupe (pronounced Group)

more than 75 years experience in the underground/infrastructure

to include the United States with a plant located in Florida.
New Addition To The Team: Sheltra Motorsports

RE/MAX 150. Lindley joins the Sheltra Motorsports team as
the rear tire carrier and mechanic. Lindley is a recent
graduate of the NASCAR Technical Institute (NTI) and has
experience in the Motorsports arena working for other organizations.
Kentucky Speedway Rewind: Patrick Sheltra
will make his fourth career start at Kentucky Speedway Friday
night. In his previous three outings, Sheltra’s worst
finish was 18th while posting two top-10 finishes of ninth
(May 2007) and most recently seventh in the Drive Smart!
Buckle-Up Kentucky 150 in May.
Hoping To Charge To The Front: Crew Chief
John Hayden will unload the Dodge Charger nameplate for
the fifth time this season in Friday’s ARCA RE/MAX
150. The Chrysler brand automobile has been particularly
kind to the sophomore team this season with three top-10
finishes at Kansas Speedway (eighth), Kentucky Speedway
(seventh) and most recently Michigan International Speedway
(sixth). The team also ran a Dodge Charger at Pocono Raceway
but experienced engine failure while running fourth in June.
Nice Stat: Halfway through the 2008 ARCA
RE/MAX Series, Sheltra Motorsports has fielded a car for
Patrick Sheltra that has run in the top-10 for all 10 events
thus far this season. The team has amassed one top-five
with a runner-up at Toledo Speedway while holding four additional
top-10 finishes. The team’s season best qualifying
effort came at Kansas Speedway where Sheltra awarded himself
with a career best run of eighth. The team has led two races
at Kansas Speedway and Cayuga Motor Speedway for a total
of 15 laps.
Looking Ahead: Sheltra Motorsports will
announce this week a new primary marketing partner for next
Saturday’s Berlin ARCA 200 at Berlin Raceway in Marne,
Michigan. Last year, Sheltra in his inaugural trip to the
.4-mile paved oval qualified 17th before marching to a then
career best fourth.

serve as the team’s back-up automobile. This is the
same racecar that the Whitesville, Kentucky based team competed
with at Pocono Raceway in June.
Point Standings: After round 10 on the
2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule, Patrick Sheltra sits ninth
in the championship standings accumulating 2,070 points.

John Wes Townley. 420 credits separate Sheltra from the
points lead held by SunTrust Rookie-of-the-Year candidate
Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.

On Cayuga: “We were super excited

as strong if not stronger. We hope to be the car everyone
is chasing Friday night.”
On Groupe Beton Brunet Returning As Primary Marketing
Partner: “It’s awesome. Bernard (Brunet)
has been really supportive of our race team. We wish he
could be in attendance with us at the race Friday night
but we know he’ll be watching from home in Canada
and we hope to deliver him a victory.”
On Qualifying Being Aired Live On SPEED:
“Heck yeah, now that’s what I am talking about.
I think this is a huge opportunity not only for the race
teams but for ARCA as a whole. This offers great exposure
to the teams, drivers and their marketing partners. We plan
to take full advantage of this opportunity. Hopefully we
can be in the hunt for our first ever ARCA SIM Factory pole!”

Speedway Pre-Race Quotes:
Grace Sheltra, owner of the No. 60 Groupe Beton Brunet-Ferguson

On Kentucky: “After our seventh
place finish at Kentucky Speedway in May, we’re aiming
for a top-five on Friday night. I know that we can be a
threat to win the race and that would be huge for the team,
especially in their own backyard. Our Dodge Chargers have
been strong and competitive this year and we don’t
expect anything different Friday night.”
On The Season’s First Half: “It’s
been very competitive to say the least. We’re ninth
in the championship standings right now but it’s not
over yet. There is still a long way to go. We know are team
is capable of dishing out great cars that will lead to strong
finishes. We look to be consistent and winning in the second
